Affiliate Marketing is a commission-based business.

According to statista.com the U.S. affiliate marketing spend is due to reach $8.2 billion by end of 2022, up from 5.4 billion recorded in 2017.

There is a lot of money you can make as an affiliate marketer.

If you want to earn some commission from different products or make passive income online. This is the best time to start your affiliate marketing business.

You can do affiliate marketing through SEO, Influencing and Paid ads. I will talk about those ways to do affiliate marketing in just a few seconds.

Before I do that I just need to emphasize something.

Even since I started my Affiliate Marketing journey in 2018 I have seen some of my referrals saying. I am giving this business 3-6 months and see if it will work out.

Guess what?

It won\’t work out because you are already set up to fail.

If you want to enter this business model you need to fully commit and affiliate marketing is not easy as it sounds.

I will tell you right away that Affiliate Marketing is not for everyone.

You need to be patient and keep on writing helpful quality content.

The main way to do Affiliate Marketing is through SEO, Influencer and Paid ads. Wealthy Affiliate touch all those ways.

But the main focus is on SEO because is more profitable.

• Affiliate marketing with a website (SEO)

You just need to pick your niche, look for Affiliate Program and start creating helpful quality content that people are looking for on the internet.

Then you need to optimize your website for search engine optimization (SEO). Google and other Search Engine will send you quality traffic (organic traffic) to your website and the more traffic you get the high chance to make more sales and earn affiliate commissions

The biggest challenge with this method is you will need to work for free for a few months building your online foundation.

It will take more than 6 to 12 months for your website to rank well on Google and other search engines. You also need to put in mind that Google is always updating the algorithm and this affects many websites.

• Affiliate marketing with a profile (influencers)

This method involves building your social network profile and getting more followers. The more followers you have the high chance to get free traffic to your affiliate link and the more money you make.

You can do this on Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Tiktok and other social networks.

The downside is those social networks hate affiliate links and they are very stick you need to play by the rules otherwise your account will be banned and building followers is not easy.

I have seen some folks making good income after investing 2 years of building up their affiliate marketing business.

But there are always some exceptions.

If you are a dedicated worker and you spend 2 to 4 hours per day working on your website and publishing at least 2-3 articles in a week

• In 12 Months – $500-$1,000 per month

The sin that Wealthy Affiliate made is not to teach Black Hat SEO strategies that is why there are a lot of buzzes on the internet and some affiliate marketers are saying Wealthy Affiliate training is outdated.

There are in the business of making money.

But, at least they offer potential members with free training and tools to decide if this business model is for them or not.

After that, it will be late to request for refund and the affiliate who referred you to Authority Hacker is already earn a $498.5 commission.

Therefore, if Wealthy Affiliate was not offering free training and a new member can be billed once they sign up many of those affiliate marketers will promote it.

A Pyramid Scheme does not have any real products and your earnings come from recruiting people.

MLM (Multi-Level Marketing)

MLM is the practise of selling goods or services on behalf of a company in a system whereby participants receive a commission on their sales as well as the sales of any participants they recruit.

Multi-Level Marketing has multiple level tier commissions while Affiliate Marketing has a single tier of commission.

In Multi-Level Marketing, you earn commission from the people you recruit and your recruiter recruit. With Affiliate Marketing you are just a middleman between the company and the customer.

• 24/7 real, helpful community and direct access to CEO

Cons

• Some training needs to be updated or removed
• Unnecessary post from the community

They are many alternatives to Wealthy Affiliate but they are very costly and some do not offer any tools to a quick start with your business or practice what you are learning.

I will recommend Legendary Marketer if you are interested in selling High Ticket Affiliate Program or Solo Build It.

Whatever platform you choose to learn how to make money online with Affiliate Marketing you also have to remember that Affiliate Marketing need hard work and an enthusiastic attitude to build a successful online business.
